About Challenger Baseball
Challenger Baseball allows children and youth with disabilities to experience the joy of baseball in a fun, supportive, and inclusive environment. This program is about teamwork, confidence, movement, and belonging - not competition. Families, volunteers, and players come together to create a positive space where every athlete can succeed at their own pace.

You will be partnered one-on-one with a player to support them throughout the game.
-
Assist your player with catching, pitching, batting, and running alongside them as needed.
-
Be a cheerleader and encourager, celebrate effort, participation, and progress.
-
Help players stay engaged, confident, and safe on the field.
-
Be attentive to mobility needs; players may walk, roll, or ride.
-
Stay alert for wandering or elopement and gently redirect or follow while alerting staff if needed.
-
Support positive sportsmanship and help create a welcoming, inclusive atmosphere for all players and families.
