Role: Basketball Buddy

Challenger Basketball is about more than hoops—it’s about teamwork, belonging, and fun. Thank you for being part of it!

Your Purpose

- Treat everyone with dignity and respect. Speak to participants as you would any other teen or adult.

- Warm up with players, pass balls, and cheer during games.

- Encourage participants who may need reminders about plays, turns, or sharing the ball.

- Celebrate every shot, whether it goes in or not!

- Support coaches (Patrick for Youth, Camden for Adults) by helping drills run smoothly.

- Build relationships! Learn names, sit with players, and make them feel part of a team.

- Commit when you can. Consistency helps participants feel secure, but even one week makes a difference.
