We’re looking for 15 volunteers to participate in a live disaster response exercise as part of a Community Emergency Response Team (CERT) training event. This is a hands-on opportunity to help trainees put their skills into action after two days of classroom learning.
What You’ll Do: As a volunteer, you will act as a disaster survivor in a mock emergency scenario (such as an earthquake). You’ll be assigned a role, complete with a tag describing your condition—ranging from minor injuries to being trapped or missing. Your job is to make the scenario feel as real as possible by reacting as a survivor in distress, helping the CERT trainees practice rescue techniques, first aid, and crisis response.
Why Volunteer?
Experience a behind-the-scenes look at emergency response training.
Be part of a fun, interactive, and meaningful community preparedness effort.
No experience needed—just a willingness to get into character and help create a realistic training environment!
