Join the WWVDN for an unforgettable evening of fun and care! We’re looking for enthusiastic volunteers to provide childcare for children with disabilities and their siblings during a special Parent-to-Parent Dinner (location TBD).
What You’ll Do:
- Create a warm and welcoming environment for children of all abilities.
- Engage kids in age-appropriate games, crafts, and activities to keep them entertained and smiling.
- Support the unique needs of each child, ensuring their safety and happiness throughout the evening.
- Help siblings build connections and have fun in a supportive setting.
- Assist with setup, cleanup, and maintaining an organized play space.
What You Bring:
- A compassionate heart and willingness to learn about each child’s unique needs.
- Patience, enthusiasm, and a sense of humor (because kids = fun chaos!).
- Experience working with children, especially those with disabilities, is a plus but not required.
- A team-player attitude and a commitment to creating a memorable experience for everyone.
Why Join the WWVDN Volunteer Program?
- Make a difference for families by giving parents the gift of connection and respite.
- Experience the joy of helping amazing kids have a great time.
- Build meaningful relationships with fellow volunteers and the families you serve.
Whether you’re a childcare pro or just love being around kids, we’d love for you to be part of this rewarding event!
