Imagination Station Play Partner

Imagination Station is all about creativity, movement, and pretend play. Volunteers help bring imaginative adventures to life while supporting safe exploration.

Your Purpose

• Treat everyone with dignity and respect. Speak to participants as you would any other child.

• Engage in playful storytelling that encourages children to explore imaginative adventures.

• Help children navigate activity stations such as tunnels, stepping stones, and scarves safely.

• Model safe play and encourage children to stay within their “play bubbles.”

• Support parallel play by helping children enjoy activities alongside one another.

• Celebrate creativity and unique ideas during pretend play.

• Watch for signs of overstimulation and help redirect children to calmer activities if needed.

• Encourage positive social interactions and gentle turn-taking.

• Help with setup, transitions between activities, and cleanup.
