Come help neighbors build pride in their community by supporting a City of Walla Walla neighborhood cleanup event. Throughout the year, the City hosts cleanup days in underserved neighborhoods and provides large dumpsters so residents can safely dispose of unwanted items, clutter, and materials.
Volunteers will help with a variety of tasks, including greeting residents at the registration table, helping load and unload materials, moving items from vehicles to dumpsters, monitoring dumpster areas, trimming grass or vegetation, and assisting wherever needed.
Volunteers are welcome to serve for all or part of the event. To help make the day run smoothly, we suggest a minimum volunteer commitment of 2 hours.
Volunteers must be at least 18 years old unless accompanied by a parent or guardian who is also volunteering. A free lunchtime meal will be provided for both neighbors and volunteers.
The cleanup location will be shared with registered volunteers before the event.
