The Children’s Museum is seeing motivated, outgoing individuals to contribute to our Education team. The Camp volunteers will have the opportunity to work in a fun, playful environment, learn new skills, and directly assist the Camp Coordinator by taking ownership of a wide range of projects.
Responsibilities can include:
Implement hands-on interactive programming activities for campers (volunteers will be trained on workshops prior to camp)
Help create and prepare activities for children (ages 3-10) and families during Museum hours
Assist Museum staff in day-to-day operations
Assist Education Director with marketing through outreach events
Work with Education Director to plan and implement special events
We are currently seeking volunteers who can commit to a minimum of 1-3 days per week from end of June through first week of August.
We offer training in teaching and assisting STEAM educational programs. This summer the theme is Earth and Space Science.
