United Way of Walla Walla County is hosting a get-together for students and parents to learn about where to go for students to find community service and volunteer opportunities. It will also be explained what United Way does and the impact that it has on our community.
United Way will also be starting up a Student Leadership Council, made up of students dedicated towards helping others in our community. It will be explained at this event how students can get involved in the Leadership Council. It will also be explained where students can go to find volunteer opportunites!
This event will be the first of many visits to different non-profit organizations around town!
