Happy Spring Break Week!
The Warming Shelter is closed for the season, but that doesn't mean we are not still working toward supporting those in need! We could use some helping hands for our Warming Shelter Laundry Day! Helpers will be loading the coin operated washing machines and dryers, timing the loads, and folding.
You don't need any experience for this activity! Just come prepared to help!
Alternative break trips originated with college students in the early 1980s as a counter to "traditional" spring break trips. These trips are usually led by 2 "site leaders" who are students that have already participated in an alternative break, and have gone through extensive leadership training.
