The project involves cleaning up invasive vegetation and at least one small rock dam within the riparian area of Stone Creek, a small Salmonid bearing stream in College Place.
First, it is an environmental service project which would keep a small portion of Stone Creek to flow freely. Secondly, it would help the residents of the manufactured home community to maintain their property, at least in the riparian area.
Make sure to wear closed toe shoes and clothes you can work outside in, and bring a water bottle!
