Girls Council

Girls Council serves girls from age 9 - 18 through girls groups within our community.  These groups are facilitated by volunteers trained to use age and topic specific curriculum.  We teach our girls how to be aware of possible situations that may lead to poor outcomes for themselves.  We show the girls how to build on their potential by empowering them through their own successes.

Girls Council also runs a Mother/Daughter group focusing on strenghtening bonds, communication skills, setting limits, and honoring boundaries.

Girls Council is committed to "empowering girls to become strong women" through researched based gender specific programming services and a residential placement project.
