Walla Walla County Emergency Management

Walla Walla County Emergency Management (WWCEM) is organized by an interlocal agreement between Walla Walla County and the cities of Walla Walla, College Place, Waitsburg, and Prescott to provide emergency management services as required by Chapter 38.52 RCW

WWCEM provides mitigation, preparedness, response, and recovery planning for major disaster events and facilitates forums with emergency responders to exchange information and improve plans. We are prepared to open an Emergency Operations Center (EOC) to provide support to field incident commanders and information to the public when a disaster occurs. WWCEM provides public information on the hazards in Walla Walla County; how we can mitigate or reduce their effects and ways of preparing ourselves.
